Preparing the Best Fight for the Flu

Last week I gave you some of the background of the flu and the best defense against it, which included frequent hand washing, keeping hands away from your face to prevent self inoculation and masks for those immunocompromised people who are in danger of exposure.
The next thing to do is to prepare your body in advance to fight off anything that comes your way. This doesn’t necessarily mean you will not get sick, but you’ll have less severity and duration of symptoms if you do catch a bug. The following are good ideas, even after flu season.
